Booktalks
A booktalk is a brief teaser for a book. Similar to movie trailer previews, booktalks provide a glimpse into the story, usually focusing on an exciting plot twist meant to entice the audience into reading the book to discover the outcome. Our team of booktalking librarians offers booktalks twice a year at all middle schools across Jackson County. To find out what books are being discussed with students in grades 6 through 8, go to the Young Adult Department Booktalks page. Booktalk lists are a great source for readers.
