Poetry and Pie: The annual Poetry and Pie Event is held in conjunction with the Oregon Poetry Society Association during Poetry month in April. Participants read a poem to earn a piece of pie. |

Art Displays: The Medford Library Art Committee continues to bring wonderful displays of local artist’s works. The artwork is on display in the South Entrance of the building and a new selection is hung every three months. |

Babies in the Library: For prewalking babies (0-12 months): Mondays, 1:30 p.m., and Tuesdays, 1:30 p.m. |
Wobblers: For babies (ages 12-36 months): Wednesdays, 10:00 a.m., and 10:50 a.m. |

Monthly Teen Chess Club: The Chess Club meets on the third Saturday of each month from 1-3 p.m. in the Medford Branch Teen Library. |
Teen Advisory Group (TAG): Discuss ideas for improving teen activities in the library (for teens in 7th – 12th grade). |

PARKING
Parking is available at several locations around the library:
-
Adjacent to the library building at the corner of 10th Street and Riverside “Pay to Park.” The 10th and Riverside lot also has limited one-hour free parking spots.

Across the street from the library building on Central Avenue “Pay to Park."
-
One-hour free parking on the street around the perimeter of the library building.

Evergreen Parking Structure located on 8th and Main Street three-hour free parking on the first three levels.

Persons with a valid handicap placard may park in any free 1, 2, or 3 hour time limit space as long as needed. Placards must be displayed. Parking is not allowed in 15-minute or loading spaces. This applies to on and off street parking. Handicap designated spaces in pay lots are free with placard displayed. If parking in a regular space in a pay lot, payment is required.
The parking lots and parking enforcement are City of Medford responsibility.

FRIENDS OF THE MEDFORD LIBRARY
The Friends of the Medford Library meet every second Monday at 1:00 p.m. (except July and August) at the Medford Branch Library. New members are welcome. For more information, call the library at 541-774-6415 or the Friends Book Shop 541-779-3246 or see the FOML website .

Monday - Tuesday 10 am - 4 pm
Wednesday 10 am -5 pm

INTERNET USE
The Medford Branch Library has computer workstations for Internet use and wordprocessing (MicroSoft Office/Word) programs. Wireless access is available throughout the building. For more information contact the Medford Library at774-8689 or e-mail us at medref@jcls.org.
MEETING ROOMS
Meeting rooms are available to rent both during the library's open hours and after hours. Community non-profit organizations may use library meeting rooms without charge, so long as the event is free, advertised, and of benefit to the general public. Make a reservation here or call 541-774-8679.
