Stuffed Animal Sleepover

Teddy bears and other beloved stuffed animals were invited to a Stuffed Animal Sleepover hosted by librarian Patt Colwell in the Medford Library Children's Department on Monday, May 17. A special storytime allowed owners and animals to share a story before leaving the animals to enjoy their party.

Call our FREE Dial-A-Story hotline at 541-774-6439 anytime, day or night, for your preschooler's own private storytime. Stories are updated frequently by volunteers from the Storytelling Guild and are available in English and Spanish.

Storytelling Guild & Children's Festival

The Storytelling Guild is a group of volunteers dedicated to serving the community by providing opportunities for children to be exposed to the magic of books and the joy of reading. Members of the Storytelling Guild present a storytime at the Medford Library every Wednesday at 11:00 am.
The Storytelling Guild presents the Children's Festival in July at Britt Gardens in Jacksonville. Jackson County Library Services
was a co-sponsor with the Storytelling Guild of the Children’s Festival for many years. Beginning in 2000 the Storytelling Guild
began taking ever greater responsibility for the Children’s Festival.
