Room Rates

Is there a charge to use the room if we are a non-profit organization?

Community non-profit organizations may use library meeting rooms without charge, so long as the event is free, advertised, and of benefit to the general public. A charge may be collected if County personnel must be on hand. A $100 cleaning and/or key deposit is required from all organizations, and may be kept on file for future use.

What if I want to use the meeting rooms when the library is closed?

Library spaces may be rented by individuals and organizations for special events to be held at hours when the library is closed. For meeting room access when the library is closed, you must pick up a key at the Library Business Office the day prior to your event. This key will give you access to the library; however, the meeting room doors are on a timed unlock and will unlock five minutes before your scheduled time of use. Library Business Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you fail to pick up the key, you will not have access to the room.

Who sets up the tables and chairs that I will need?

Individuals and organizations using library facilities are responsible for room setup and cleanup. Organizations not leaving the room as they find it may forfeit their $100 deposit.

May we have food in the rooms?

Food and beverages are permitted in meeting rooms, but alcoholic beverages are not allowed in or on library property unless prior written authorization has been obtained from the Library Director. Smoking is never allowed in or on library property.

How do I cancel my reservation?

You may cancel a reservation online using your confirmation number. Cancellations must be received 48 hours prior to your reservation time. The deposit on file will be retained for cancellations not received 48 hours prior to the reservation time.
