Periodicals List (Union List of Serials)

The following links list all magazines and newspapers held by JCLS. Also listed are holdings of magazines or newspapers on microfilm which can be viewed using special readers. For notes on how to read each listing, click here.

To make it easier to print out any updates and to save on document loading time, the Union List of Serials is divided by first letter of the title of the magazine or newspaper.

Magazines received by Jackson County Library Services since 2000 are included in the library catalog. The library catalog may also list earlier magazines held by SOLIS partner libraries.

How to Read Each Listing

The format is:

Title of magazine or newspaper in capital letters.
Branches, Departments, and Storage, where it is received, and their holdings*.
Associated titles (in capital letters if on list).

*Example of holdings: keep 5 yrs means 5 yrs plus current year.

The "(g)" after a Branch or Department name means that the magazine is a gift, or donation; the holdings may be erratic.

The current issue of a magazine has a label "In Library Use Only" and does not circulate until a newer issue is received. In Medford, Spanish language serials are kept together at the end of the current serials area.

Note: Newspapers, bound issues, microfilm, cartridge microfilm and storage items DO NOT CIRCULATE; they are for in-library use only.
